Production should not begin from a catalogue image or informal chat. A Technical Freeze records the exact configuration that purchasing, manufacturing, quality control and compliance must follow.

Product definition

  • Model, dimensions and revision-controlled drawings.
  • Final BOM, materials, colors and finishes.
  • Door, cover, hardware and worktop configuration.

Evidence requirements

  • Material grade evidence.
  • Coating or durability tests where contracted.
  • Exact-model certification by destination.

Release requirements

  • QC acceptance criteria.
  • Packing and loading method.
  • Compliance Dossier index and shipment HOLD items.
Change control: any change after Technical Freeze must be recorded, assessed for cost, timing, compliance and packing impact, then approved before implementation.
