Quotation preparation

What KAISTEEL needs to quote your project

A complete first message gets a complete first quotation. Incomplete requests get a scoping call before pricing.

Price depends on configuration, not just model name. The items below let KAISTEEL scope a quotation without a back-and-forth clarification cycle.

1. Project basics

  • Destination country and, where relevant, state/province.
  • Buyer type: distributor, contractor, developer or hospitality project.
  • Order quantity and whether this is a sample or a production order.
  • Target delivery date.

2. Product selection

  • Format: PRO (2300 mm), MAX (2900 mm) or CUSTOM.
  • Worktop thickness: 6, 8 or 10 mm.
  • Material grade preference: 304 (standard) or 316 (order-selected upgrade) — see the Compliance & Manufacturing Dossier for how grade evidence is matched to the order.
  • Cover/door mechanism preference, if known.

3. Supply scope

  • Which path fits the project: System Shell, Appliance-Ready or Full Package.
  • If Full Package: preferred appliance brands and any locally mandated certification scheme.
  • Who will complete electrical, gas and plumbing connections at destination.

4. Logistics

  • Delivery format preference: fully assembled or modular — see modular vs assembled shipping.
  • Incoterm and named place or port.
  • Any destination handling constraints (crane access, container restrictions, site labor availability).
What happens next: KAISTEEL reviews the request, confirms scope in writing and — for configurations that need it — schedules a Technical Freeze before production planning. Quotations state assumptions explicitly; anything not confirmed in writing is not part of the price.
